In addition to exhibiting in booth 439, Cormant CEO, Paul Goodison is part of a panel in the DCIM Tutorial on Monday, April 29th and is presenting a solo session on DCIM on Tuesday, April 30th.

San Luis Obispo, Calif., USA. – April 23, 2013 – Cormant Inc., the developers of Cormant-CS, an IT and data center infrastructure management solution (DCIM), today announced their tripartite participation in this year’s Data Center World, Las Vegas event at the Mandalay Bay Convention Center. Cormant will have a booth at the expo again this year where they will be sharing the newest version of their DCIM solution with IT and facilities management professionals.  Cormant CEO, Paul Goodison will be one of three presenters in the DCIM tutorial on Monday, April 29th covering selecting, building and growing a sustainable DCIM strategy. Mr. Goodison will also present a DCIM session on Tuesday, April 30th about “The Who, What, Where, How and Why on DCIM.”

Recognizing the importance of the Data Center World event amongst data center, IT, systems and network management and professionals, Cormant will be exhibiting the latest revision of their DCIM solution, Cormant-CS in booth 439, near Networking Lounge A. Attendees will have the opportunity to see live demonstrations of Cormant-CS across all of the platforms… desktop, web and all three mobile platforms – tablet, smartphone and the workhorse offline version on handheld devices with integrated barcode and RFID scanners.

DCIM has recently experienced explosive growth accompanied by some confusion about what DCIM is, who are the developers of true DCIM solutions, where DCIM is useful, how DCIM can be used, and why companies and organizations with large scale IT & facilities deployments should implement a DCIM solution.  Cormant will be involved with two learning opportunities at Data Center World aimed at addressing these concerns.  Cormant CEO, Paul Goodison, will join Emerson Network Power’s Matt Zieg, and Xerox Business Services, Inc.’s David Filas in a DCIM tutorial on Monday, April 29th from 9:15am-2:30pm in the Jasmine EF room. Participants in the tutorial will come away with a solid understanding of DCIM and how to decide what it means for their situation, as well as plenty of real-world examples of what works and what does not.

Mr. Goodison will also present a solo session on Tuesday, April 30th from 8:15am-9:15am in the Jasmine AB room titled “Where’s My Workflow? Why Process Is Vital To DCIM Success In The Production Environment.” The session will explore what DCIM is and isn’t, focusing on how IT infrastructure management tools can help staff – from the CIO to those within the network, server, storage and/or deployment groups. Real-world examples will address the decisions behind adopting an infrastructure management solution as well as demonstrate how they have been implemented.

Attendees are encouraged to connect with Cormant in all three instances to deepen their understanding of DCIM and the benefits of DCIM for their organization.
